Summer Arabic in the Middle East
Many students develop their Arabic skills further over the summer by studying in an Arab country. This allows them not only regular practice with native speakers in real-life settings, but first-hand experience with the culture of which the language is a part. Some of the available programs are listed below. None of these are affiliated with the University of Wisconsin, and this list is provided as a service which in no way constitutes a recommendation. If you wish further information on these programs, follow the link or ask your professor about issues like credit transfer or whether they have had experience with the program. If you know of any summer Arabic program which should be included, please let us know.
