APPLICATION DEADLINE: 1/30/23
- CASA I offers a 9-month (September-May) advanced level training in Arabic language and culture Fellowship program to qualified American undergrad and graduate level students at the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan or the Arab American Language Institute in Morocco (AALIM) in Meknes, Morocco.
- CASA II offers a semester-long (Spring 2024) language and research support Fellowship program for doctoral students in MENA Studies through the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan.
- CASA III offers a semester-long (Spring 2024) language and research support Fellowship program for faculty in MENA Studies through AALIM (Arab American Language Institute in Morocco) in Meknes, Morocco.
The application requires that all applicants take the ACTFL exam for Reading, Listening and Oral proficiency.
Deadlines / Exam Dates:
- Application deadline is January 30, 2023 at noon PT
- Reading & Listening Exams may be taken from December 1, 2022 – February 10, 2023
- OPI Exams will be taken in January/February (deadline February 10, 2023)
