Beyond the Muslim Ban: Coalition Politics and Feminist Futures

Nadine Suleiman Naber, Associate Professor in the University of Illinois Chicago, theorizes the racialization of Arab and Muslim Americans within the contexts of empire and diaspora. She is the author of Arab America: Gender, Cultural Politics, and Activism, and co-editor of the books Race and Arab Americans, Arab and Arab American Feminisms and The Color of Violence.  This programming is brought to you by generous funding from the UW Anonymous Fund.
