The MESP supports comprehensive modern Middle Eastern language programs in Arabic, Hebrew (biblical and modern), Persian, Turkish, and Azeri for undergraduate and graduate students across UW-Madison with advanced language proficiency to support their research and fieldwork.
In addition, we work closely with the Arabic, Persian, and Turkish Language Institute (APTLI). APTLI is a summer intensive language program for undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals.
