Adam Stern, associate professor in the Department of German and Jewish Studies, will be on sabbatical this academic year (2025/26). He’ll be working on his current book project, tentatively entitled The Jewish Settler. The book takes up current discussions about Zionism and settler colonialism through the lens of political theology. He’ll also be co-editing a special issue for Critical Times on the relationship between settler colonialism and secularism.
