We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that the International Academic Programs (IAP) has officially launched a new Study Abroad program in Istanbul, Türkiye — UW in Türkiye: Crossroads of Civilizations. UW in Türkiye: Crossroads of Civilizations
The program will be led by Professor Karl Shoemaker (History and Law) and is scheduled to take place in Istanbul from May 17 to June 4, 2026, contingent upon sufficient student enrollment. Students may register under either History 200: Historical Studies or INTL ST 503: Study Abroad Topics in Culture in the Age of Globalization.
