Children’s International Story Hour: “Salma the Syrian Chef”
We are excited to present the children’s book: Salma the Syrian Chef by Danny Ramadan (Author), Anna Bron (Illustrator).
We will be reading the book to children, introducing basic Arabic words, teaching basic facts about Palestine, and creating an art project based on the book!
This is part of a series that introduces children’s literature that celebrates the diversity of art, culture, food, and language around the world. It is part of an initiative, Children’s International Story Hour, created by WIRC here at UW-Madison.
It is free and for all ages of children & their caregivers.
