Tahereh Rahmini

Tahereh Rahimi is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her research focuses on journalism in Iran and the Middle East, the history of journalism in Iran, and cultural and critical studies of media. She holds two master’s degrees: an M.A. in Media Theory and Research from Southern Illinois University (SIU) and an M.A. in Cultural Studies and Media from the University of Tehran. She completed her B.A. in Journalism at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran. Before moving to the U.S., she worked for 14 years as a journalist with various media outlets in Iran.
