Seven students have graduated with Certificate in Middle East Studies for academic year 2017–2018. They are:

- Hannah Chouinard (Spring 2018, Environmental Studies and Sociology)
- Tess Kolker (Spring, 2018, International Studies – Global Security and Political Science)
- Danielle Nemschoff (Spring 2018, Economics)
- Thomas Valtin-Erwin (Spring 2018, African Languages and Literature)
On May 11, MESP Director Nevine El Nossery led a celebration for the graduating MES Certificate students. Thomas Valtin-Erwin was present, together with his parents, to receive his Certificate and a token from MESP.
