AIMS Research Grant Awards for 2021
AIMS invites submissions of papers by Graduate Student members of AIMS (The AIMS Graduate Student Association, GSA) for the Mark Tessler Graduate Student Prize Award which has a monetary value of $750.
Papers must be complete in written form and must have been delivered in-person or virtually before a professional audience at the departmental, university, regional, or national level in 2020.
The paper will be juried by two members of the AIMS Board. The award is named for Professor Mark Tessler in honor of his enduring interest in the Maghrib and his sustained efforts to develop graduate students prepared to work in the field.
Papers must be submitted to aims@aimsnorthafrica.org by December 31, 2020 for the 2020 award. Please put “Tessler Paper Prize submission” in the subject line.
Students are also reminded of the Annual Grants Program for short- and long-term grants to US scholars interested in conducting research on countries in North Africa.
